]The clown of the crime, the prince of pranks are some of the more than forty nicknames that The Joker has managed throughout his criminal career and trying to remove Batman .

The history of The Joker before meeting for the first time with Batman and the Gotham police is an enigma, even to himself it is difficult to recall details of his past life. One of the varied memories dating back to the Detective Comics No. 168 February 1951 with the story called "The Man Behind The Red Hood is revealed that The Joker had been a thief nicknamed Red Hood, who, trying to Batman flee fell into a tank with different mixtures of acids, toxic waste bleached his skin, his hair turned green and became permanently his sinister smile, the shock caused by this transformation mad giving way to the birth of The Joker.
